PLEASE JOIN US FOR A TOUR OF
THE 4TH ANNUAL
RUBBER STAMP RENO SHOW HELD JUNE 2, 2001
It was fun being there as a vendor and taking
these pictures so that we could share them with
you. There were 35 vendors present from
10 different states and 1 from Canada. The show
hours were 9:30 am to 5 pm. We do not represent a show promoter
or any specific company
other than our own, Stamps
Galore. This report is presented in the spirit of "Rubber Stampers"
who we always
see having lots of fun at shows. While you are reading this
introduction, the
pictures are loading so "kick back", relax and enjoy!

Upon arriving Saturday morning, we observed a
"tail-gate" party going on in the parking lot. Being
of the
nature to crash parties, we introduced ourselves
and upon our request to take a picture of them,
this
group of members of the Lassen Stampaholics stamp
club from Susanville, CA posed for us.

As stampers entered the hall, they were greeted
at a registration table. Their hands were stamped so
re-entry into the hall would be easily and smoothly
done. There was a display of pins so that stampers
could get ideas for pin swaps. Actually,
a pre announced pin/tag swap was held at 11 am in the large
area near the concession stand.
#13
#14
The Grille Works had quite a variety of offerings
which added to the pleasant atmosphere of the show.
An
area with tables and chairs was provided for
stampers to eat, visit and share their "finds."

The picture on the left shows stampers immediately

Displays on the convention staff table included
two Grand prizes, one a "Goody basket" of stamping
supplies valued at $235 and the other, a Xyron
850, which were drawn at 4 p.m. Door prize drawings
began at 9:30 and continued every hour on the
1/2 hour. Names of winners were posted in the lobby and
eating area.

Amy in the yellow shirt was deeply engrossed
in her book so obviously she was throughly enjoying being
at the stamp show. Also enjoying being
at the stamp show was the husband of one of the shoppers. This
fellow had found an electrical plug next to a
dispensing machine so was able to watch sporting events while
his wife shopped. What good sports these
two individuals are!
