MC921-Q "Birdhouses with border" was stamped on white card stock with a black memories stamp pad, colored with pencils, trimmed with a deckle cutter and layered on sage card stock. Card by Margaret Wiggin.
Stamps used are
MC1041-G
"Brook & cutthroat",
MC1042-G
"Rainbow & brown" and
MC907-Q "Frame #10, Fishing poles".
All were stamped on 140 lb. weight watercolor paper and were inked by coloring
directly on the stamp with a brown Marvy Marker. The color on the fish pole
frame was drawn out with a fine-pointed soft bristle paint brush dipped in
water. Color from Marvy Markers were rubbed on a plastic coated paper plate and
used as a palette to color the fish and the blue background behind the fish
inside the fishing pole frame. The finished watercolor paper was layered over
tan and green card stock to frame the card. The absolute two
"MUSTS" for this watercolor technique are to use 140 pound watercolor paper and
a #45 Sepia (brown) Marvy Marker for your brown. Card by Lisa Haan.

MB745-A "Caterpillar", MB747-A "Cahill", MB750-C "Caddis" and MB748-C "King's river" are stamped in gold in a diagonal pattern across blue marbled vellum. The vellum is glued to the front of the white card stock and a fly made with fibers, wire and beads is strung from the top of the card with fishing line which is secured with tape on the inside of the card. Card by Cheryl Ardrey.
MB225-K "Doe by branch" is stamped in brown ink on
white
glossy card stock, sponged with light blue and brown ink, layered two times over
a medium brown and a light blue card stock. This is layered onto a clay
colored card stock which has the corners punched to provide a place for the
fiber to attach. A few tiny
pieces of the super sticky red double stick tape are used to hold the fiber down in a few
spots. This is layered over white card stock. Card by Amy Vittori.
MC1033-L "Butterfly #3, Lg." is stamped
randomly on vellum, embossed in gold and colored with markers from the
underside. The vellum is trimmed to fit the card and is layered on white
and then blue card stock. Three more butterfly images are stamped,
embossed in black, colored from the underside and layered on the trimmed vellum
sheet, one on top of the other with a foam strip in the center of the
butterflies. Card by Patty Neu.

green and gold wallpaper and black glossy card stock. Card by Emogene
Swanson.
MW113-J "Owl on limb",
JA317-I "Narrow butte, Sm." and MB01-L "Wild horse" are stamped on white glossy
card stock and colored with markers. The card stock is trimmed to a
rectangle leaving part of the owl's head above the rectangle. A circle is cut from orange
card stock, sponged on the right side with a darker orange to represent the setting sun and is placed
under the portions of the branch, the butte and the back of the horse that have been cut
out so it appears that the sun is in the background, yet you can see part of the sun behind
the three objects. A line is drawn behind the horse, well below the butte and to the left
side of the card to complete the mountain ledge on which the horse is standing and to give the
appearance that the butte is quite a distance away. The sky and ground are stippled.
The piece of white card stock is layered over black
card stock. A triangle is cut from black card stock and a design punched
into it. This is layered on a square piece of white glossy card stock and
the words, "Miss You" and a heart are drawn on one corner which is edged with a Krylon leafing pen and stippled. The black triangle is glued to the other corner and this
square is layered over the white card stock, the rectangle of black and the orange card stock.
